eFax review in Marlborough, Massachusetts: Terrible terrible idea don't do it

TERRIBLE COMPANY, LIARS, RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. TOOK OUR FAX NUMBER WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. I do not recommend this company unless you are ready for a legal battle. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company. My telephone company has been trying to fight with them to get our fax number back and they refuse to give it back. if you start the service and port your number and decide to cancel the service they will cancel it but they will take your number regardless of the cancellation. They are a terrible company and if you are not ready for a legal battle... then i would look away.

I attempted to cancel my efax account over a year ago and was told it was cancelled.. I realized 2 months ago they'd been charging me $16.95/month.

I emailed multiple times to inform them of this, and they told me to call. I called and I was put on hold for over 25 minutes. There was "nothing the supervisor could do" because I had no record of the cancellation...

because they require you cancel over the phone. I would LOVE for someone to sue this company.

Efax and myfax owned by J2 Global

If you are considering using efax... DO NOT. They have super high pricing. $170 per year for their fax line is ridiculous!!! Customer service reps sound like robots. Flying to the moon seems more likely than getting a refund from this company... I pre-paid for a year, changed my mind --- wanted to go month-to-month, and they will change the plan to month-to-month...no refund on remaining 10/11 months though. AVOID EFAX LIKE THE PLAGUE.
