make sure you cancel well ahead of time, once they charge your credit card you will not get it back! No partial refunds. They will disconnect your fax line and and give you a confirmation number over the phone but about 10 days later you will get an email telling you the refund has been declined. Now you are out the money and no service. Yes, even my card company who I spend well over 5 figure every month would not refund the money. terrible company and policy.

I needed to fax a document, but no longer had access so I thought that I would try to fax from my computer. I signed up for eFax's 30-Day Free Trial. Signing up was not difficult, but sending a fax (by following the directions provided to me by eFax) was a nightmare. I kept getting error messages. I emailed CS and they responded with "We regret for any inconvenience you may have experienced." They requested more information, even though I provided them with a detailed report of what had happened. They never responded. So the service was basically useless to me. My trial ran out on Nov 29th. They charged my CC on the 30th. Today (12/2), I had noticed the charge and called in. I told them about the trouble that I was having and asked that they cancel the account, which they did. I also asked for a refund and the CSR refused, saying that it was not company policy. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that the managers to not take/accept phone calls. This was, by far, the worst customer service experience that I have ever had and will not be using their services again. They received payment for one month and I received nothing. I am not a fan of this business model. Buyer beware when trying/using eFax. Both the product and the customer service were severely lacking.

If it is free its OK. But I would never pay for this "Service", glitches, problems, not available most of the time. As you get 1 fax with 10 pages they will suspend your account.They lied it isn't free. Technology company that does not use technology, people you cant't understand, Mangers who can care less. Can I give negative stars? The worst company, they don't let you cancel your account!!! I did the free trial and throught I cancelled...nope! They charged my account!!!!! their 1-800# doesn't have a cancellation option. I picked option to add new services which was answered right away and made them transfer me to the actual department! Stay away from EFax.

Efax sends fake emails to make them money and to use mine. I do not know or had I efaxed 1 time. There is a 5 page a day efax charge with numbers I could not call back! Its all just a money scam! Be careful and dont get caught up in a round and round mess that only leads to a monthly credit card bill of whatever efax wants to add daily to your "Daliy Usage of Pages that cost alot of not only Space on your Email but constint reminders of money you owe!! Efax makes sure you get your Quota to total more than the Allowance . It then goes by page cost of 10 cents each. What a rip off considering I never used efax but getting axerage of 3 different per day,. Not Recomending EFAX to anyone unless you like Emails from Stangers or Bothersome emails.

Canceling eFax impossible

I called to cancel because pdf attachments are much easier. They asked for and I provided the last four of my credit card on file and they said I was incorrect. I said the last four had changed over the years and I don't recall what it was but they could look it up because I am billed every month. The Indian person I was speaking with was barely understandable, completely unhelpful and never did cancel my account. I called AMEX and they quickly and efficiently blocked eFax from ever billing me again. eFax SUCKS! ! ! ! ! ! !

On top of the service not working consistently (unable to retrieve or send faxes. Unable to retrieve any faxes sent via phone app from the website) The customer service number is a long distance number and is based in India and they barely understand and speak English. Extremely difficult to get anyone to shut up and listen to what you are trying to say. All the reps that I spoke with were busy talking over me to try and either sell me something I already told them no on, or just talking about nothing. I was hung up on for requesting to speak to a supervisor after requesting my account be canceled. I spoke with 4 reps today before finally getting fed up and canceling my account. The initial request was that the payment date be moved to the original payment date agreed on the 10th instead of the 8th. They continued billing on the 8th and I was got late fees that were not necessary. Even after canceling the original account to set it up on the 10th in order to have a billing date on the 10th they could not figure it out, and THEN tried to charge me for the late fee still. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was hung up on twice. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I highly recommend others do the same.

Efax hard to quit

At end of 30 day "free" trial efax did not honor my request to cancel service. They make it easy to sign up and put up barriers to canceling service. This is fraudulant misrepresentation and advertising. They do it simply because they can assuming that they can evade any consequences. The one hundred word requirement at this entry point is another barrier which makes feel like I am wasting my time here. Efax is contributing to the moral decline of American culture, Freedom to them means the right to steal from anyone they can with no fear of accountability.onehundred.

EFax J2 fraud

Details
Signed up for the eFax service due to new job only to find out couple weeks later that my employer had their own e-fax for my use. Cancelled the service on Feb 25th with a Kyle Woods via the chat option that they recommend and then on March 4th I have a bill for the service deducted from checking. Call the 800 number only to be told there was no record of my cancellation. Total freaking scam. DO NOT USE THEM EVER!! Even during my cancellation the lady kept trying to sell me on other services they offer. No way I'd ever recommend them to anyone.

Efax makes it extremely difficult to cancel their overpriced service. I signed on through the App Store but there is no way to sign off through the app. After going through my credit card, I was directed to their website which directs you to a 1-800 number which is completely automated and does not allow for human interaction ....definitely a problem because I did not know my fax number and there is no way to deal with the customer service line without a fax number which they supply. Amazing, since they have billed me for months without my fax number, website or 1-800 number. Shameful consumer practices.
